Our Empty Theatres

Our Empty Theatres was a personal project I embarked on during lockdown last year. My main body of photography work is centred around Theatre. The shows, the rehearsal and the people. When lockdown happened I like pretty much all us freelancers found myself out of work and at a loss. My thoughts kept turning back to my workplace, our theatres, and the sad emptiness they now found themselves in. Over the course of 2 months I visited 22 theatres from London, Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds to photograph these beautiful buildings in their empty state.
